Title; Health reform-we blew it
I have been interested in reforming the health insurance system in California and warring about currently about the millions of Californians without health insurance.
Unfortunately, I heard the bad news that the sweeping proposal to reform the health insurance system was defeated in the Senate Health Committee. This Committee was elected by their district have the power to choose one of the best health policies in California. The reason why the proposal was failed seems that premium cost for heath insurance plans would exceed the bill's projected cost of $250 per member per month. The analyst's office figured that it the average premium cost were $300, the purchasing pool would have a deficit or more than $4 billion 2015.
At this point, I think that the policy of health, education, food and housing are important agenda to manage their state. Of all the policies, I believe that health policies build up the quality of life for people if they have a reasonable coverage of the health insurance. Moreover, one of the most important national policy is likely to build up health status of their people. They may well realize that health of people is one of the essential goods in the modern ages.
I know that USA is the most advanced country in the world but the health insurance system is in a bad situation right now. Senate Health Committee in California have to review that proposal to improve their health status

ReplyDeleteIt's very worthful for people to think about health insurance, the quality of life, which is facing a big problem that the proposal was defeated by committee in California. Even though your contradiction argument is not strong enough to support your ieda,(e.x., you can argue that it will bring a lot of social problems and family problems if the people lack of health insurance.) it is a good essay.
